On March 11, 2020, the II International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “Modern achievements of pharmaceutical science in the creation and standardization of medicines and dietary supplements containing components of natural origin” was held. The conference was organized by the Department of Chemistry of Natural Compounds and Nutritionology of the National University of Pharmacy.
The directions of the conference include the main stages of the development, research and implementation of medicines and dietary supplements based on medicinal plant materials:
• market analysis of herbal medicines, dietary supplements, therapeutic and cosmetic products;
• the search for new sources of plant materials for the creation of medicines and dietary supplements;
• standardization of drugs and their pharmaceutical analysis;
• modern approaches to the technology of herbal medicines;
• analysis of extemporaneous dosage forms based on components of plant origin;
• pharmacological studies of herbal medicines, determining the safety of dietary supplements.
