MASTALER Viktoriia Volodymyrivna – associate professor of the institution of higher education, Department of Pharmacognosy and Nutritiology, candidate of pharmaceutical sciences, associate professor.

MASTALER Viktoriia (07.03.1971, vil. Shevchenko Donetsk region) – Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Associate Professor of Botany Department of NUPh. Graduated from Ukrainian Academy of Pharmacy (1994). She worked as a pharmacist (1994-2003). She worked as a Senior Laboratory Assistant (2003 – 2011), Assistant (2011 – 2018), Senior Lecturer (2018 – 2019) of Botany Department, NUPh. Acted Secretary of the Department (2012 – 2018), Secretary of the Methodological Meetings (2014-2015), responsible for the organization of educational and methodological support for students of the specialty “Technology of Perfume and Cosmetics” (2012 – 2016) and specialty “Pharmacy » (English department) (2016 – 2023).
Since 2023 she has been Associate Professor of the Pharmacognosy and Nutriciology Department of NUPh. Acts responsible for the organization of educational and methodological support for students of the specialty “Pharmacy” (English department) and the distance course “Pharmaceutical Botany”.

Certification training. Cycle “Young Teacher’s School” 2013, Cycle “Technologies for Distance Course Development” 2015, International Internship “Academic Integrity: Challenges of Modernity” 2018. Advanced training courses “Theory and practice of distance learning” 2019. The second higher education on the specialty “English language” 2020.
Educational work. Co-author of 30 educational and methodical publications, 17 educational programs. Participated in the development of the distance course «Pharmaceutical Botany”. He is a tutor of distance courses in «Pharmaceutical Botany. Module I “and” Pharmaceutical Botany. Module II”. These courses meet the requirements of the “Regulations on the examination of DC in NUPh” and are recommended for use in the educational process (the certificate was approved at the meeting of the NUPh, minutes № 1 of 09.20.2018)
Organizational work. Acted Secretary of the Department (2012 – 2018), Secretary of the Methodological Meetings (2014-2015). She has been the curator of two academic groups (2015-2018). I took part in holding Open Days, career guidance. Awarded the Certificate of NUPh Certificate (2021).
Scientific research work. In 2010 she defended her PhD thesis on “Pharmacognostic study of Borago officinalis L. and creation substances on its base” (supervisor – prof., Ph.D. Khvorost O.P.).
Carries out research work in the direction of: “Pharmacognostic study of Ukraine plants (Boraginaceae, Violaceae, Asteraceae, Lamiaceae families)”. Conducts research work with students participating in scientific conferences. According to the results of the research work there are more than 68 scientific works, among them: 2 patents for the invention, 2 information papers, 29 scientific articles (among them 6 – in Scopus) and more than 30 conference materials.
